Daniel Skavén Ruben

About Daniel

I’m passionate about shedding light on the opportunities for building a better future food system. The system is under pressure from a growing population, climate change, and geopolitical instability. At the same time, a number of dynamic innovations are transforming how we produce, distribute, consume, and discard food. A few powerful examples are automation and robotics, AI, biotech, synthetic biology, precision agriculture controlled environment agriculture, and alternative proteins.

My goal is to help bring clarity on the current food systems transformation in a way that is knowledgeable, accessible, and structured. This supports individuals and organizations in understanding the changing landscape, how the food system may change, and how to start preparing for these transitions.
